Why We Dont Offer Online Sales
Because Indiana prohibits us from shipping, we take orders via email for pickup and payment at the store.
Why we choose wine based on the ratings
Regardless of what Beringer would like us to believe, wine is not an exact science. The same wine varietals vary wildly between regions, wine making styles and vintages. The variability that make wines difficult to select is the very characteristic that gives wine its charm. Why else would there be an entire magazine industry devoted to the reviewing and rating of wines. My theory is that about 1/3 of all the wine produced is just plain bad, another 1/3 is mediocre and about 1/3 is pretty good to exceptional. My goal is to only choose from the top 1/3 when I select wines for my store or Cobblestone Grill. Every wine on this list has been reviewed by a top wine publication, tasted by the Wine Guy, and judged to be a very good to excellent example of its type.
