3 cup peeled sliced apples
1/2 sour cream
1 4 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbs. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Topping:
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup quick oatmeal
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
Caramel Sauce:
1 tsp. cinnamon
24 unwrapped caramels
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place apples in a buttered casserole dish. Beat cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, egg and vanilla. Stir mixture into apples.
Topping: Cut butter into oatmeal, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on apples, and bake 35-40 minutes. Meanwhile, combine caramels and evaporated milk in saucepan. Melt over heat. When ready to serve, drizzle caramel over apple crisp.
