This big velvety Buehler Cabernet is a serious bargain, especially by Napa standards! It's a serious "steakhouse" Cabernet with all the right stuff... get out your decanter and fire up the grill!
Buehler Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Napa Valley, California $28
We Bought a Bunch $24.99
What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Spectator 90 Points
Well-proportioned, with a mix of spicy currant, blackberry, cedar and mineral notes, picking up a hint of anise on the finish. Ends with a long, persistent finish. Drink now through 2013. 13,000 cases made. –JL
What We Thought: A big cedar and cassis nose leads to a rich, ripe and velvety palate of blackberry and dark chocolate supported by supple but very evident tannins. This full-bodied wine mellowed to a supple smoothness after a 20 minute decant. Serious Napa Cab!
