What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Spectator 90 Points
Subtle; keeps its layers of blackberry, cherry, black olive and toasty oak flavors in reserve to emerge one by one as the finish sails on. Not a big wine, but has impressive depth and length. Best from 2008 through 2013. –H.S.
What We Thought: Begins with a nose of cedar and candied red fruit and follows with medium-bodied palate that has plenty of dark, ripe blackberry and black cherry fruit and a smooth, clean finish.
