You have to admire these winemakers. These were the guys that the New York Times interviewed last August when they had tanks in their vineyards....

Galil Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 Galilee, Israel $16
What the Wine Critics Thought:
Wine Enthusiast: 88 points
Ultra young and ultraloud, with grapy, herbal flavors that come across as bold, assertive and unsubtle. A bit tart on the finish, cushioned by supple tannins. Kosher. — J.C.

What We Thought: Classic Cabernet nose of dark fruit and cedar with a medium-bodied, blackberry palate, light acidity and an absence of tannins that qualify this wine as a "drink me now."
