What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Enthusiast 91 points - Editors Choice
This beautiful wine is the quintessential Alexander Valley Cabernet. It's soft and melted in texture, a gentle but complex wine with enormously rich blackberry, cassis and oak flavors. And this is a great price for the quality. Geyser Peak is at the top of their game.

What We Thought: This young Cabernet is a decanter candidate that blossoms after about 20 minutes to reveal a big cedar and cassis nose and a full-bodied, very smooth palate of blackberry and black cherries supported but some fairly firm tannins that had softened up pretty well by the time we finished the bottle.
