What We Thought: We decanted this for about 20 minutes and and it really brought out the Cabernet varietal chacteristics on this classic Sonoma red. It has a beautiful cedar and cassis nose and a medium-bodied palate that oozes rich, ripe, blackberry and cassis tinged with oaky vanilla. It's all supported by some mid-weight tannins and a touch of food-friendly acidity on the finish.
