Her family's six generations of making Grand Marnier and owning Chateau Sancerre bring French winemaking skill together with new world fruit to create stunning wines. All of their wines consistently receive 90 point plus scores every year, and this vintage is no different.

Rich and polished, with a solid core of blackberry and black currant fruit layered with mocha, sweet spice and briar notes. Long, juicy finish. Drink now through 2008. –J.M.

What We Thought: A huge nose of cedar and cassis leads to a smooth, full-bodied palate of ripe blackberry fruit accented with licorice and chocolate notes all supported by some firm tannins that soften with a thirty minute decant. This is serious Cabernet....
