Every bit as good as their outstanding 2002 vintage....
Martin Ray Cabernet 2003 Santa Cruz, California $60
We Bought a Bunch $29.99
What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Enthusiast 93 Points
I love this Cab for its dryness, richness and balance. It's a lovely wine, poised between thick tannins, crisp acids, ripe blackberry fruit and ample new oak, but it is young. As polished as it is now, it should soften and sweeten with a few years of bottle age. Best 2007-2010. - S.H.
What We Thought: Classic Cabernet with a nose of cedar and cassis and a ripe medium-to-full-bodied palate of deep blackberry and black raspberry fruit supported by some soft, supple tannins that combine to make this an approachable, easy-drinking Cabernet.
