The wine is tannic, but balanced and rich in Cabernet fruit. It has that edge of elegant complexity that marks a great wine. Drink now-2015. Cellar Selection. – S.H.

What We Thought: I don't know what wine the Wine Enthusiast reviewer was tasting but it doesn't sound anything like this one. The only thing we agree on is that it's darn good — at least he got the score right. This beauty has a deep garnet color, a big blackberry nose and a soft full-bodied palate of more blackberry along with a little dark chocolate with vanilla overtones. The tannins are evident but do not dominate. We enjoyed it without decanting. This wine should have a long life in the cellar.
