Robert Mondavi Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Napa Valley California $42
What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Spectator 93 points

A classy wine that's rich and intense, with a concentrated mix of mineral, currant, blackberry, dusty herb and cedary oak flavors. Though deep and well-structured, this maintains a sense of elegance and grace, making it a good choice for near- and mid-term cellaring. Best from 2008 through 2014.

What We Thought: Mondavi has returned to its roots with this classic Napa Cabernet. It begins with a cedary blackberry and cassis nose and moves to a full-bodied, fruit filled blackberry and black currant palate that has a firm, drying, tannic structure that promises improvement in the cellar.
