Serves up layers of ripe, lush cherry, blackberry, cassis, herb and spice flavors. Firm, ripe tannins and discreet use of oak make this a winner.
What we thought: This wine has a beautiful, deep garnet color, a very cedary, berry filled nose and a bittersweet chocolate and black raspberry palate. Full-bodied with very supple, non dusty tannins that that tell me to drink this guy over the next 5 years because I don't see how it gets any softer...
