Reynolds Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 Orange - New South Wales $11
What the Wine Critics thought: Wine Spectator: 86 points On the light side but nicely fleshed out, showing supple tannins and pretty raspberry and currant flavors, which echo on the lively finish. Drink now.
What We Thought: Here is a pretty good bottle of under $10 Cabernet. It has good Cabernet character, with lots of dark fruit and firm dusty tannins. I would have identified it as a good every day Bordeaux had the man doing the pouring not been Australian.
