Bourbon Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

2 - 3 pounds pork tenderloin
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup bourbon

Mix last three ingredients together and pour over tenderloin and place in an airtight container or bag. Marinate 8 hours or overnight. Drain, and grill or bake as you would typically prepare pork tenderloin (we grill for about 20 minutes).

For an additional punch, serve (sparingly) with the following sauce. This sauce is also a great accompaniment to beef.

White Mustard Sauce

(Make at least 24 hours ahead)

1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons green onion (diced)
1 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
salt to taste

Whisk all together, and let sit. Serve as a dipping sauce for pork or beef.

(Be forewarned — this sauce sounds sort of innocuous, but when it "sits," it gets powerful. You might even think that is has horseradish in it, but it doesn't.)
