Shrimp Dip

Last Sunday Tom Landshof, the other Wine Guy on Mondays and Fridays, and his lovely wife, Suzanne invited us to their home for dinner. These are the two appetizers they served and we can officially pronounce them both excellent!

1 package (1 pound) cooked frozen shrimp
1 package cream cheese (8 ounces)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Heinz chili sauce
1 teaspoon onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon hot horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Use blender or food processor. Beat a little milk into cream cheese to soften, then beat all ingredients except shrimp. Add half of shrimp and blend. Either dice remaining shrimp and stir in or add and pulse to leave chunks. Don’t double.
