Le Cirque Rosé 2010 Roussillon, France

Suggested Retail: $11, Vintage Closeout: $5.99

What a great deal on a bright Summer Rosé!

What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Enthusiast: 91 Points
Le Cirque Rosé is distinctively suggestive of tart cherry, prickly pear, and pineapple. It is lush yet bright, with suggestions of citrus zest, red fruit skins and pineapple core. A rich element of nut oils as well as a foundation of wet stone are in its vibrant, refreshing finish. Quite distinct from any other pink wine; drink it through 2012.

What We Thought: This is one complex rosé — there’s a lot more on the palate than the usual strawberry, watermelon and rhubarb, though all those flavors are present. It’s dry, light and refreshingly delicious; try it with a delicately-flavored salmon or just enjoy a chilled glass of it by itself.
