Duval-Leroy Brut Rosé Champagne, France

Suggested Retail: $30, We Bought a Bunch: $12.99

The Duval Leroy USA warehouse was double shipped the half bottles of their Brut Rosé and needed to make it leave, quietly. Luckily for us, they chose Indiana. We were selling 750ml bottles of this last Christmas for $59! This is beautiful Champagne, the real deal and just enough for two. And, this time we were able to get plenty; 200 cases available!

What the Wine Critics Thought: Wine Spectator: 92 Points
A rich, harmonious rosé that's nonetheless light-bodied and elegant, offering a creamy mousse and flavors of plum compote, grilled nuts, black cherry and candied citrus peel, all focused by the thread of minerality that lingers on the finish. Drink now through 2018. 6,000 cases made. –AN

What We Thought: A beautiful coral color and rush of the tiniest bubbles carry yeasty aromas of cherries and a refreshing palate of bright strawberry and red raspberry flavors. This is beautiful Champagne, the real deal and just enough for two.
